Environmentally Sound Management of PCBs Training – İstanbul

Within the framework of the POPs Legacy Elimination and POPs Release Reduction Project, The Environmentally Sound Management of PCBs Training Program was carried out at Ankara Anemon Hotel and MKEK Facilities from 8 May to 12 May 2017.

The training was held as 4 days in the classroom and 1-day field training. Ministry of Environment and Urbanization of Turkey explained the Management and PCB Regulations of PCBs. International Expert Jean Hetzel and National Expert Ömer Hallaç explained PCB Identification, Identification, Application and Maintenance of PCB containing Materials, Insulation Oil Sampling, Storage Report, Analysis Report, Classification of PCB Transformers, Emergency Plans and Decontamination Targets and Methods.

In the field training, participants were trained in the Field Inventory and L2000 DX Analyzer. Certificates were issued at the end of the training.
